Casting and Care

Use wax suitable for sculptural candles and let it cool completely. Support the crescent's pointed ends and the small figure while peeling back the silicone around the joined body.

Test stability, wick position and burn behavior for the crescent and figure shape. Burn on a stable heat-resistant holder with room to catch wax.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the angel and crescent made in one casting?

Yes. The seated angel, crescent moon and rounded cloud base form one joined sculpture.

Where are the stars in this design?

The stars are raised details on the outside of the crescent moon.

Which parts need extra care during release?

Support the crescent tips and the small angel figure as you peel the mold away. Avoid pulling on the moon points or wings.
