Casting and Care

Use a casting mix suitable for your project and follow its mixing and curing instructions. Release the cup area and belly opening carefully, then peel the silicone from the ears and paws without forcing thin sections.

A cast holder is not automatically safe for flame or hot wax. Use an LED light for decorative display unless the finished material, coating, cup fit and heat resistance have been independently validated. Do not assume food or drink suitability.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the three animal choices different?

Cat has pointed feline ears, Puppy has a broad short muzzle and upright ears, and Rabbit has long ears. Each is a separate mold selection.

Does this mold make a solid animal candle?

The design forms a holder with an open belly and cup form. It is intended here for decorative plaster or concrete casting, rather than a solid animal-shaped wax candle.

Can I put a burning tealight in the finished holder?

Use an LED light unless you have validated the casting material, coating, candle fit and heat resistance for that use. The silicone mold alone does not certify the finished holder for flame.
