Keep the Surface Detail Clear

Follow the instructions for wax suitable for freestanding candles and keep the mold supported while filling. Allow the heart to cool fully before gradually peeling away the silicone. Work gently around the honeycomb cells or raised rose petals rather than pulling on the heart's upper lobes. Wash the small recesses carefully and dry thoroughly.

Test your wick and wax before burning a heart candle. Place it on a stable heat-resistant drip tray and supervise it away from ribbons, packaging and other flammable items.
