Using the Mold Safely

Choose a casting medium appropriate to the decorative object you intend to make. Allow it to cure fully before gently releasing the textured horns, face and cup detail. A decorative casting is not automatically safe to hold a burning candle. Only use a finished casting with a lit tealight if its material, cup dimensions, heat resistance and stability have been independently tested for that purpose. Do not burn a tealight in untested resin, plaster or other decorative materials.
