Turn a nutcracker character into a decorative container with Obsesie's nutcracker head vessel silicone mold. A crown-shaped rim surrounds the opening, above an expressive face with a curled moustache, sculpted eyebrows and rolled hair at the sides. The hollow center provides storage space within the finished head.

Finished Vessel Measurements

  • Exterior height: 10.6 cm (4.17 in); width: 9.7 cm (3.82 in).
  • Interior cavity dimensions: 5.7 × 5.7 × 8 cm.
  • Included: One silicone mold
  • Finished vessels, casting materials, wax and wicks are not included.

Casting and Vessel Use

Use a casting material compatible with silicone molds and follow its curing instructions. Release the cured vessel gradually, supporting the points of the crown and the wall around the opening. Clean the facial recesses gently and dry the mold before storage.

Use the finished vessel for decorative storage. A casting intended to contain a burning candle must use a suitable heat-resistant material and undergo candle-container testing. Ordinary decorative resin or plaster should not be assumed safe for direct candle burning. This mold does not certify a finished container for heat or flame exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the mold make a solid nutcracker candle or a hollow vessel?

It creates a hollow nutcracker head vessel with an opening inside the crown-shaped rim. Choose it for decorative container casting rather than a solid standing nutcracker figure.

What are the exterior and interior dimensions?

The finished exterior measures 10.6 cm high and 9.7 cm wide. The interior cavity dimensions are 5.7 × 5.7 × 8 cm.

Can I fill any finished casting with candle wax and burn it?

No. Suitability depends on the casting material, wall construction and successful candle-container testing. A decorative casting alone does not establish that it can safely hold a burning candle.
